Lakes Counseling is currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem and Aetna of Wisconsin. As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, teletherapy services provided are eligible for reimbursement as an out-of- network provider.
Please call your insurance company and ask about your reimbursement rates for in-network and out-of-network providers.
It is important for you to understand your mental health benefits prior to our first session. Please contact the customer service number on the back of your card to verify coverage. Questions to ask are- Do I have mental health coverage? What is my deductible? How many sessions are covered? What coverage is available for in-network and out-of-network providers?
For In-Network clients, I am happy to file a claim on your behalf. If you are an Out-of-Network client, I will provide you with an invoice to submit for possible reimbursement. Lakes Counseling Center works with an application called Better. Better is designed to take all the guess work out of gaining reimbursement from insurance companies. All you need to do is take a picture of your invoice and let them do all the work! The link is provided below:
Payment must be paid the same day of service. I accept credit cards and healthcare flex cards. When the appointment is booked, you will receive an email that allows you access to the HIPAA compliant platform (Simple Practice). This is where you can fill out intake paperwork, schedule appointments and make payments.
Initial Intake Session– 60-75 Minutes $150
Ongoing Session Audio and Video Chat- 60 Minutes $135
